Located in the northwest of Burkina Faso, Kawara is one of the villages of the Samogo people. Home to approximately 5,000 individuals, this village has sited health care and secondary education among their priority development needs.
Current Project Being Funded By WADM:
The building of a technical (vocational) High School is underway with the first four-classroom building to be completed in early 2015. Work on the school started in December 2013, with the initial phase being completed in February 2014. The building will include solar powered lighting and ventilation. This school will serve the village and the surrounding region.
